Development that works for people that live here
Protect the character of our neighbourhoods
-
Keep mega towers off residential and main streets. I’ll push back against developments that overwhelm neighbourhoods so that City Hall listens to how over intensification impacts us.
Services and infrastructure that keep up
Recreation for our population
-
Build a new recreation centre and keep our urban rinks. With thousands affected by losing facilities like the Gymnastics Centre (OGC), we need to protect Tom Brown and expand local recreation.
Transportation that keeps us moving
-
Stop accepting unreliable transit. I’ll push for LRT accountability, 90% reliability on routes 11, 51 and 81 and tackle chronic traffic problems on Parkdale, Scott and Churchill.
A community that works for seniors
-
I support faster snow clearing in areas where delays can affect seniors, more public washrooms, broader property tax deferrals and safer crossings to help older residents stay independent and connected.

The Voice for Kitchissippi
Meet Brian
I’m Brian Innes, and I want to be your next councillor for Kitchissippi.
We love living in Kitchissippi but right now, growth is putting real pressure on our daily life. Roads are more congested. Transit is unreliable. Parks and recreation are not keeping up.
I am running because we deserve a councillor who will make development work for the people that live here.
I live here, am raising our family here and have spent years showing up when decisions at City Hall affect us. I've taken on issues involving development, transit and the environment, and bring nearly two decades of experience leading organizations and working with governments.
I'm excited to get to work and deliver for you.
